Our story

Julio spent years cutting and sewing canvas for upholstery, awnings, boats, and cars. He made a custom backpack for his daughter, Atsumi, and the response led him to start a company making durable, practical bags. Using his marine upholstery experience, he focused on stylish, high-quality beach totes from real sailcloth. Wanting to improve existing designs, he built Atsumi around better style, durability, and function. Today every Atsumi bag reflects that commitment—refined beach totes and travel gear made to last on and off the water.
